【摘要】The essay works out a long and medium-range forecast model of China's grain consumption. The model shows that China's grain consumption wil reach ,5244 hundred million kilograms up to year 2000. The gap between production and consumption is about 144-244 hundred million kilograms and the deficiency rate is 2.8-4.7%.The conclusion is that the grain consumption will show a strong tendency of increase and the production and consumption grain will maintain a status of fragile equilibrium in a long period of Yime. So the grain consumption should be put under sensible control.
