【摘要】In this article, we present and measure the construct of competitive density, and we find that the development of the national high and new technology industry development zones in China is non monotonic competitive density dependence by empirical research method. Further explorative discussion find that the development of the national high and new technology industry development zones in China is negative relationship with average scale of firms and positive relationship with regional economy and regional technology condition.
