【摘要】TT indices are widely used for international comparison.The paper firstly makes use of the method of graduation to deduce generalized TT indices,on the base of describing TT binary index and generalized TT indices based on the stochastic ap proach.TT index approach is applied to calculate TT indices for six countries in cluding China and so on and international prices for all manufacturing's industr ies for the benchmark year 1997.This example proves that weighted CCD index numb er is superior to CCD index number.Moreover,multilateral spatial comparison for labor productivity has shown that catch\|up process has occurred between China a nd the USA until the middle of 90s as a result of the “rapid growth with no cat ch up”ending.
