【摘要】The paper reviews the empirical research on determinants for international competitiveness of industry. Three major difficulties in this research area are pointed out. Two famous empirical analysis models are reviewed in Chinese case. Finally, the paper estimates and tests a model on Chinese manufacturing cross sectional data set and the results show that industry concentration, scale of economy and technology innovation have significant effects on the international competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing.
