【摘要】Information technology is the representative of High tech,and which has the capability of reducing costs,leveraging companies' profits and improving the competitive.But positive analyses about IT productivity confirmed this conclusion,and “IT productivity paradox” raises provocative study.This paper discusses the main causes of “IT productivity paradox”——the abuse of traditional productivity measures and the causes of IT low profits,and suggests a new productivity paradox:“how can IT be most productive?”Based on the analysis of traditional productivity measure,this paper puts forward a new measure of IT productivity improving IT performance,and suggests the important ways to improve IT performance.
