【摘要】The paper firstly reviews the 10 important events that have had the great influences on the reform and development of statistical higher education during the past 20 years. After comparison with the curriculum, textbook, and scheme of statistical education in developed countries, the paper has discussed the problems and difficulties we are facing right now. Then at the last part, the paper tries to point out the challenges and the chances in our statistical education when we enters the new millennium and the new century as well as after China joins WTO.
