【摘要】Although “the Information Industry” has been mentioned frequently, there is no an authoritative and common definition of “the Information Industry” whether home or abroad so far. In this paper, authors introduced several definitions made by some countries and international organizations, and put forward the definition and categories of “the Information Industry” used in the statistics of CHina.
