【摘要】This paper,with material flow method,makes the study of some relative indicators of import and export material flows for foreign trade in China in 1995～2003,then comes to such conclusions:①Import material flow in China in 2003 is larger than export one,and that means ecological trade surplus,which,together with monetary flow,forms “dual trade surplus state”,but such material flow trade surplus is extremely unsteady;②Ratio of dependence on foreign trade is only 5% or so,which indicates that China is a country of resources self-supporting;③China hasn't emerged the tendency of worse ecological terms of trade,so opening to the outside world won't increase ecological environment pressure at home;④Ratio of dependence on foreign is crucial to influence export material flow.
