【摘要】When we are cheering the 50th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, and roaming leisurely in the flour ishing modern capital city, have we had today's brilliance to be linked with the contributions by the non native population? There are many stories telling misfortune of the job seeking girls in the city, and these are more often than not related to the current household registration system. Some fundamentally important questions have been raised: Do people have the right to move (migrate) freely?Should the urban development results be shared by the non native population while they have made tremendous contributions? And when the rural urban gap and in equality resulted from the household registration system will be closed? Three scholars are invited to discuss on these thorny topics.
