【摘要】To achieve sustainable and healthy economic development, it is necessary for Chinese government to regulate the environment. Therefore, it has important significance to study the relationship between environmental regulation and economic growth. This paper deals with the method of measuring the Chinese provincial panel data from 2010 to 2018 to carry on the empirical analysis. The results show that environmental regulation in the eastern region has no significant negative effect for economic growth, to the central and western regions is a significant role in promoting economic growth. Finally, this article puts forward targeted policy suggestions based on the research results.
